Tragedy Paper
This week I began my tragedy paper. My three R's for all my reading are very helpfull because I basically did my whole essay with them, now I just need to put it together and make it flow. I am a little confused about Krutches reading. I believe he says that a tragedy for him is some sort of religon. I kind of understand that but I dont really get why it is some sort of religon or how. For my rough draft i stated all that I knew aboutthe authors. I also just gave a brief paragraph of my opinion. I will need to makethe essay smooth better and maybe include some quotes in there.

I agree, as i read your paper today in class iw as noticing it sounded a lot like the 3R's we did for homework. Which is why im suggesting that its not about just putting that in but put in what the authors idea of tragedy.
ReplyDeleteI thought that Krutch was really confusing too, but I figured out he says that to write tragedies you need to understand god or be religious, so you can write it with the ending that a tragedy needs, he says that a tragedy needs to end happily and inspire you about the good that man is capable of. I personally thought that somebody had spiked my morning orange juice with something crazy, when I finished reading it.
